When homeowners are pondering creating or recreating their home one of the key questions is, “Is it worth it?” What I find helpful is that part of this consideration look at how long the plan is to keep with this location. Now of course life is fragile and none of us know how long we will be breathing. I know this clearly after a health care situation last Autumn. All the same, usually if we hope to keep this home 20 years or more, it is almost impossible to go wrong. If one compares what one would pay for in rent for a similar place, let’s say 3,000 to 5,000 dollars per month or 36,000 to 60,000 dollars per year or 432,000 to 1,200,000 dollars over 20 years, the cost of gaining what one would love is justifiable.
