A long term wish of this architect of visiting Chicago wound up happening twice within a year. Last Fall, my wife and I swung through Chicago as part of a medical trip to see a specialist. We extended the visit last year since I was selected by a Chicago couple during the swing to design their home in New Hampshire.
This Autumn, Pella Windows tried something out of the norm for the frequently offered fly an architect to a window factory for continuing education and hosted architects in downtown Chicago near their large showroom at the Mart. It was a lot of fun and since the house design in New Hampshire for the Chicago couple is still in process, I stayed a couple of extra days to meet with them a couple of times.
