Travel Time

I’ve had the opportunity to see a lot of the country over the last month.  Making some lemonade out of lemons, we made a medical trip to Kansas into a road trip to see the country with stops in Nashville and Chicago.   What couldn’t have been scripted was that on the trip, I heard that I was selected to design a new home for a couple who live in Chicago.  So the trip to Chicago was extended from one day to three days with a dinner and overnight with the new clients.  I was like a kid in a candy store enjoying all the gorgeous architecture in Chicago and we took a couple of formal tours from the Architectural Foundation.  After being home for a week, we then headed for a four city tour of the Pacific Northwest including Seattle, Friday Harbor, Victoria, and Vancouver.  A great month for research and I hope you enjoy a few of the pictures.
