Garwoods Restaurant Kitchen Expansion

Garwoods Restaurant in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire has expanded their Kitchen into a crawl space by digging down a couple of feet and capturing some overhead void space.  A round booth moved out and up a little to allow for headroom in a new stair below.  Dimensions were tight.  There was no room for joists under the bench so we used heavy planking for surface and support.  Pictures show this planking, a small excavator that was able to fit through the new 3 foot door opening, laying down the Stego Wrap Vapor Barrier, Framing the Raised Round Booth to gain headroom for the stair,  finishing the finishes in what was once crawl space, and the finished booth.  We were able to double the Kitchen Space and gain a booth that has a better view of the water.  A popular improvement.
